Drawing supplies
Here are some basic drawing supplies for drawing your own comic strip.
(1)The number one thing you absolutely need is a regular HB No.2 pencil so that you can rough out your ideas for your comic strip.
(4)&(5)A standard 1 foot ruler works fine for drawing cartoon panels. My panels are "3x3" but you can do them as big or as small as you like.
(6) Color is an option, but it makes your comics look much better than just black ink.
(7) Your imagination is one of the main things that you need to make your comic as crazy as you
want. Maybe a robot dog living in the NASA space shuttle... Whatever you want...

(2)The next thing that you'll need are some black ink pens. I mainly use Precise V5 pilot and Uni-ball pens. You use black ink pens to make your comics bolder and darker than pencil lines.(3)Any ol' eraser will work fine for erasing leftover pencil lines.

Cartoon emotions.
In your cartoons faces can't always be smiling :) Do you think someone would be smiling if they said, "OOOWWWW! That really hurt!!!". No, they wouldn't. They would look worried. Here's an idea, look in your mirror and make all different expressions and then put them on the paper(thanks to Bruce Blitz) Have fun!!!
Today's comic
It might not be March, but but it's pretty windy at our house right now. So this is what came to mind.
